Print Week 2024: Hall of Distinction Inductee

Join us for the 2024 Northern Region Print Week reception once again at the stylish Cibrèo Privato, formerly the 14th Street Theatre with a Tuscan-inspired ambiance. Once a 288-seat theater built in 2002 as part of Playhouse Square, the venue transformed into the private dining facility of the award-winning Cibrèo Italian Kitchen after the closure of Second City Cleveland in 2013.

Our Print Week traditions not only include celebrating our Print Excellence Award winners, but we honor individuals and companies who have greatly impacted the industry. This week, we congratulate our Northern Region special award recipient.

Each year members of the Northern Ohio graphic arts community gather to honor outstanding individuals who have given of their time and talents to help further the goals of the Graphic Arts Community by honoring them with membership in the Hall of Distinction.

These individuals represent the best the industry has to offer and are selected based on the following criteria:

  • Widely recognized success in the graphic communications industry
  • Significant contribution of time and talent to trade and professional organizations
  • Help and encouragement for young people interested in careers in the graphic communications industry
  • Advice and counseling for those seeking employment in the industry
  • Contributions to the general northern Ohio community outside of the industry including charitable participation and contributions, fundraising, volunteer support and promotion of civic initiatives

Congratulations to our 2024 Hall of Distinction Inductee, Adam Silk of Digital Print Solutions!

Adam Silk is CEO of Digital Print Solutions headquartered in Richfield Ohio. Digital Print Solutions (DPS) is a company dedicated to the commercial print industry with over 90% of its business revolving around the support of commercial print customers.

In the last 10 years DPS has grown from $2M in revenues to over $50M and is the largest independent provider of production digital and finishing products in America. The recipe for success is a simple one; do whatever is in your power to make your customers successful. Primarily this is based on educating customers on how to take advantage of creative ideas to improve their business, their profitability, and their financial security.

While at DPS Adam has served in various capacities and responsibilities at GMA. In the late 80’s and early 90’s Adam owned a copier company in NE Ohio which merged with ComDoc. In the early 2000’s many people from ComDoc, currently on the DPS team, created a company that supported commercial printers throughout the Midwest. This concept and this team became the core of what DPS is today.

Adam is a lifelong Ohio resident and graduated from The Ohio State University. Adam’s reason for being is his wife Peggy and his three children Kyle, Jesse, and Natalie, his son-in-law Mark, daughter-in-law Jenna, grandson Mark and soon to be second grandson.

We look forward to you joining us at Cibrèo Privato on Thursday, March 14 to honor this well-deserving award winner. Registration details can be found below.
